Big C Supercenter Nongjok
Big C Supercenter Nongjok is in an area of mainly the Muslim Community in a suburb of Bangkok. The functional area consists of the Big C store, its supporting facilities, and a retail mall for other retail stores. The outdoor plaza is for promotional or any other special events.
The building is a reinforced concrete structure; exterior materials are homogeneous ceramic tiles, aluminum composite panels, and clear float glass with powder-coated aluminum frames; interior materials are homogeneous ceramic tiles, vinyl tiles, polished cement, and painted plaster.
The building masses are tilted to create a lively character and ambiance for the place. The stars, a part of a symbol in Muslim culture, are integrated into the red Big C entrance frame to spiritually strengthen the center's relationship with the communities around it.
